Job Description
General Management of PartsXpress operations in Alabama and Arkansas. Key functions are business strategy planning, vendor relationship management, and personnel management.
Reports To:
Vice President
Duties & Responsibilities
- Business strategy planning, Monitoring P&L for areas for growth, or improvement
- Prioritize vendor/customer relationship management
- Manage PartsXpress personnel performance and head count
- Monitor process flow for deficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Monitor scheduling goals, ensuring timelines and output are meeting requirements
- Ensure PartsXpress team is maintaining inventory counts, and monitoring for shortages and future needs
- Communicate directly with various members of D&F/AMW and vendor/customer management
- Other responsibilities as assigned by VP
Required Skills & Experience
- Basic accounting principle understanding required
- Previous management and business strategy planning experience required
- ERP knowledge/experience required
- Inventory control and scheduling experience required
- Strong understanding of process flow required
- Personnel management experience required
- Advanced computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft office suite required
- Good communication skills required. Essential to vendor relationship management
- Must be strong in adherence to, and administering company policy
