Summary of Position
The PartsXpress® Administrative Clerk will be responsible for cross-training and providing support as needed to various positions within the department. The individual will also perform tasks related to the efficient maintenance of the parts room and assist in the processing of billing, purchase orders, and inventory.
Job Description
PartsXpress® is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to support daily operations and ensure efficiency across multiple areas of the department. This role is at our Crossville, Alabama, location and involves accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping, as well as assisting with billing, purchase orders, and inventory management. The Administrative Clerk will verify shipments, run reports, and provide essential support to the accounts payable and receivable teams.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of general office experience, strong computer skills, and a solid understanding of accounting, AP/AR principles, and data management. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization are critical in this role, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Flexibility, confidentiality, and sound judgment are a must, as the position requires adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accuracy and teamwork keep everything running smoothly. As a PartsXpress® Administrative Clerk, you will report to a PartsXpress® General Manager. - Minimum 2-3 years’ general office experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant computer applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge and understanding of AP/AR principles
